"The thesis analyses the conditions for bioclimatic rehabilitation of local hubs in their urban environment. It combines a metabolic perspective with environmental design techniques and the commoning of public space. Empirically, it aims at developing an integrated method to upgrade and label various railway station refurbishment programs throughout Europe and MENA countries. Theoretically, it links modernisation of railway station trends and local strategies of climate-change mitigation, and evaluates the reconnection of small railway facilities with "thermo-urban" knowledge circulation and legal-technical mobility infrastructure frameworks."
